The Municipal Chief Executive of Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly Hon. Boye Laryea has expressed satisfaction with the progress of work of ongoing projects in the Municipality.
He said the government is committed to complete all major projects in the Municipality.
Touring projects sites in various Electoral Areas in the Municipality, Hon. Boye Laryea stated that the residents who are the beneficiaries of the projects also have a role to play by desisting from acts that would prolong the completion time.
He warned residents who have connected their toilet facilities into gutters and drains in the Municipality to desist from such acts as cholera case begin to surge in the country.
The Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly MCE lauded the aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for Okaikwei North Constituency, Nana Ama Dokua for her enormous support to him in the execution of various projects in the Municipality.
Madam Nana Ama Dokua who was part of the tour also expressed satisfactions with the progress of work and urged the contractors to speed up.
She stated that as a stakeholder in the Constituency, she would ensure the development of the Constituency in all areas stressing that there are other projects to be rolled out in the Municipality to sure that the Constituency gets the needed development and facelift it requires.
Eng. Richard Gyamfi Dwomoh, the Assistant Resident Engineer for SWS Consult briefed the team on the progress and challenges in the ongoing GARID project sites in the Municipality.
Some ongoing projects in the Municipality include, drainage works on selected roads within Nii Boi Town and Anorhuma Electoral Areas, construction of access roads, primary and secondary drains, extension of security lights and water supply network in Akweteyman.
