The Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly has deployed about one hundred people into the Sanitation and Waste Module (Zoom Lion) under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).
The Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Mr. Oliver Ofori Baah introduced the people to the Municipal Chief Director.
The Municipal Chief Director (MCD) thanked the leaders of the Agency and congratulated the workers for their deployment into the module and told them about the need to get the community and environment clean.
He advised them to work hard to justify their employment by keeping the environment clean especially in their various houses before going out to enforce others in the street.
He also made the nature of the job known to them and asked them to succumb to the instructions. According to him, a workshop will be organized to that effect. Moreover, four of the workers were deployed to the Assembly.
The MCD further explained to them that: “you are serving two constituencies, that is, the Okaikwei North and Okaikwei Central and they will be grouped under these constituencies.”
They were provided with contact numbers of their leaders namely: Mr. Oliver, Michael, Ibrahim and Ismaila in case they needed any assistance.
He added that the municipality will not tolerate lateness and entreated them to live in harmony with their colleagues.
