The Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly (ONMA) has announced a hotline for santation complaints.
This according to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Boye Laryea is part of efforts to realize President Nana Akufo-Addo’s vision of making Accra the cleanest city in Africa.
The Call Centre he, notes is to further augment the Assembly’s commitment towards ensuring a cleaner Municipality.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the launch of ‘Operation Clean Your Frontage’, he said the call centre number 0302916849 is another opportunity for residents to report persons they find breaking the sanitation laws.
The MCE gave the strongest indication to prosecute persons found breaking any of the sanitation laws.
He said the Assembly will not spare any culprit insisting the law will take its course as the legislation backing The ‘Operation Clean Your Frontage’ campaign takes effect.
The Okaikwei North MCE hinted that nobody can feign ignorance over the campaign after the public float on Tuesday stressing that Ghanaians must believe in themselves to lead the change the country desired.
