The Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly has rewarded four of its staff for their dedicated service to the Assembly. Having served the Assembly within fifteen and twenty years, the four finally took a bow after a brief send off ceremony in Accra. The four, currently on retirement are Madams Esther Klottey, Adiza Gariba, Mary Aryee and Helen Konibe. All former staff of the Environmental Health Department of the Assembly, they were rewarded with retirement packages and undisclosed amounts of money. In a speech the Municipal Chief Executive. Honourable Boye Laryea said the Assembly is grateful to them for their unflinching support and contributions to the Assembly. While bidding them farewell, Honourable Laryea advised them to take very good care of themselves in order to prolong their life span. The Okaikwei North MCE prayed for God’s guideline for the retirees. The retirees variously lauded the activities of the MCE through whose dedication to duty and commitment, the Assembly has reached enviable heights. Present at the ceremony was Ms. Sefia Salifu, the Senior Human Resource Managers, Mr. Kwame Brefo Boateng, Chief Municipal Planner and other senior members of staff of the Assembly.
