Pursue Knowledge To Expand Your Businesses- ONMA MCE

The Municipal Chief Executive of Okaikwei North Municipality has urged entrepreneurs in the Municipality to pursue knowledge in order to expand their businesses.
This Honourable Boye Laryea believes is the sure way to grow their businesses to enviable heights.
According to him each passing day offers everyone the opportunity to learn something new.
“Whatever you have leant here, whatever skill you have acquired try as much as possible to also learn something out of that.”
Honourable Laryea made the appeal when speaking to graduands at a Basic Training Programme for Business Developments at Abeka, a suburb in the Municipality.
He explained that with a sense of determination the graduates can do something for themselves instead of depending on others.
“It’s not easy to be on your own but with determination, you will get there. Nothing comes easy, all the big businesses you see today started from somewhere” Honourable Laryea stated.
While congratulating the graduates, the ONMA MCE stated that the only thing the government can do for start-up businesses is what it has been done to assist individual businesses with the requisite knowledge.
Benjamin Tetteh Addo, the Head of Business Advisory Centre at Ga-Central Municipality and the facilitator of the workshop said the training is also to equip the participants on how to lay out their business plans to increase productivity.
Some one hundred participants took part in the one month training workshop initiated by the government with sponsorship from the World Bank.
The programme was implemented by the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
The participants some of whom are businessmen and women were taken through programs on how to equip them for their businesses.
These include financial literacy, Kaizen and entrepreneurship
