Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly’s task force whilst on patrol duties, arrested two people for defecating at unauthorized place.
The arres was made on 26th February, 2019 around 6.00 p.m at Achimota forest.
The culprits, Wisdom Dovo a twenty-seven year old mechanic at Achimota and Tetteh Padi a twenty-six year old who also works as a security man with Inter-Con Company at Osubut-Achimota.
The two were arrested by the task force around the Achimota forest while defecating openly, as its against the sanitation laws, section 56 SS a&b, ACT 851 Public Health act 2012.
They were sent to the Tesano Police Station Cells. They were later released on 27th February, after paying a spot fine of GH₵500 each.
