Information on the security and crime dynamics of the municipality remains the preserve of security executives, and the municipal judicial men.

To this end, the Tesano and Achimota Police Stations and the Municipal magistrate court have the mandate to work hand in hand to deal with criminal activities in the municipality on a daily basis to ensure the safety and harmonious living of citizens.

A combination of men from the Ghana Police Service and to a lesser degree, the security task force of the assembly whose mandate is to expose, nip in the bud and bring to book

criminal offences by society’s miscreants, would help curb security challenges of the municipality. 

Here is what the Tesano Divisional Commander, ACP Oduro Amaning had to say in an interview on the security or crime situation of the municipality at the end of the first quarter of 2021 :-  according to ACP Oduro, crime situation in the municipality is very low as a result of the patrols and persistent swoops on criminal tendencies and activities in the municipality.
